Improved cookstoves for social impact in Uganda

Improved cookstoves for social impact in Uganda This project in Uganda produces and distributes energy-efficient stoves for households in the Kampala metropolitan region, the capital of the country. The improved stoves help families to save up to 50% of fuel. In addition, they reduce the concentration of pollutants in the air in kitchens and living rooms. To date, more than 525,000 improved stoves have been produced and distributed as part of the project. By reducing the volume of charcoal used, the project makes a sustainable contribution to relieving the climate.
