In this VladTV exclusive, Slim 400 spoke to Vlad about being able to get through being shot multiple times and living to tell the tale. Before getting into that story, Slim gave some background his family, noting that his father was in the Army, and that he was actually born in Germany because his parents were stationed there. He noted that his mom moved him back to Compton when he was 11 months old, and that he was primarily raised by his mother on Spruce Street in Compton. Slim said his upbringing found him seeing certain things as a teen like gang banging, gambling, and more, and that these things ultimately caught his attention.
Slim 400 talked about his introduction to gang life. Unlike many gang members, Slim 400 said he wasn't officially jumped into the gang but was rather let on since he was already actively running the streets with guys from his set. He spoke about becoming aware of the gang activity around him at 11 and jumped into himself at 14. Slim 400 said he lost friends and relatives along the way and also explained how the gang geopolitics operate in Compton.
