PUNTO MINDORO July 19, 2019 | A representative from Swiss Cooperative, together with Worldwide Dund (WWF) visited Mayor Lyn Tria as they hope to organize Mamburao tuna fishers for European clients. Their objective, aside from organizing the latter, is to help them get certification and recognition from European countries as a legit and accredited quality tuna suppliers. They also offer premium per kilo of tuna purchased where a portion of the buying price will be set aside for socially related projects that will directly benefit the tuna fishers with the help and assistance of Mayor Lyn Tria and her administration. Said meeting was followed by another meeting with tuna fishers held at Municipal Gym, July 19.
