West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee held a rally in Kolkata to protest against Citizenship law & NRC. Earlier, Mamata Banerjee tweeted about her protest. She urged people to join her against the ‘unconstitutional’ CAA. Protest over the citizenship law has intensified across the state. While addressing a gathering, she said, “BJP has plans to scuttle the rally by planting outsiders who can create ruckus. Kindly follow rules and decorum; the party will decide what slogans are to be raised. Bengal stands united to keep India united- No NRC, no CAB is our slogan. We will be part of a peaceful and democratic protest which is being held across the country.”
