The US House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly on October 29 to recognize the 1915 Armenian genocide. It is the first time that a chamber of Congress has officially designated the 1915 slaughter of an estimated 1.5 million Armenians as genocide.

Dr. Viken Hovsepian talks with CivilNet’s Ani Paitjan about the significance of the adoption of the Genocide resolution and its consequences on the relationship between Turkey and the US.
