How do you negotiate a real estate deal in emerging markets?
There is one big difference when negotiating a real estate deal in emerging markets that you should consider before investing. I first started noticing this 4 years ago, and what I found is that for most people in these markets, a real estate sale is an emotional transaction rather than a financial one.
They are still guided by the old principle "he who has the supply wins" when in reality that`s not the case.
My advice when buying real estate in one of those countries is to simply have a lot of back-ups and be prepared to deal with rejection.
