Kisan Pension Scheme: Register here, farmers will get big benefit The Common Service Center (CSC) of the Ministry of Information Technology has set a target of registration of one crore small and marginal farmers across the country under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana. Registration work has already started. It has been formally launched on August 9 by Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar.
CSC CEO Dr. Dinesh Tyagi said that there are CSC centers in a total of two lakh villages in the country. Instructions have been sent to all centers to complete the registration of farmers on priority. As such, the Agriculture Ministry has set a target of one crore farmers for registration in a year. But our centers can complete it ahead of time.
Kisan pension will be made with unique card pension card
Dr. Tyagi said that computer based registration is very easy. Farmers will only have to bring Aadhar card and bank account details. With this, a pension card will be made with his farmer pension unique number. The scheme will also be applicable in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Any farmer aged 18-40 can be included
PM Kisan Man-due Scheme is a voluntary and partisan pension scheme. This includes any farmer aged 18-40. He will have to contribute from 55 to 200 rupees in a month according to his pension amount. To take advantage of this scheme, the farmer has to give complete information about farming. For this, apart from Khasra / Khatauni, Aadhaar card, Jan Dhan account details and mobile number have to be given which is linked in Aadhaar and bank account. Explain that this scheme will cost 10,774.5 crore annually to the state exchequer.
Life insurance is given responsibility
To join the scheme, farmers will have to contribute Rs 100 monthly. This amount increases with age. After this, farmers above 60 years will get a pension of up to Rs 3000 per month. At the same time, if the farmer dies, then his family will continue to get 50 percent payment. That is, he can get 1500 rupees. Its responsibility is given to Life Insurance Corporation.
