The piping plover is a near endangered species of shorebird. Their nesting areas can be found along the sandy beach shoreline on the ground making it a perfect target for predatos. The delicate bird is considered endangered, toNear Threatened as the species due to it being protected by local governments has experienced increases in population. Every Spring and Summer prime beaches are closed in these nesting areas, making it a sacrifice for surf anglers, surfers, sunbathers and four-wheel-drive aficionados so enjoy the beach buggies since big areas are closed. Fishermen always make room and endure the time it takes for these birds to nest and raise their young.
