Hot & Bothered was a finalist for the Sundance New Voices Lab, has screened across the country as well as internationally, and won Favorite Youth Film at the Philadelphia BlackStar Film Festival in August 2018!

Hot & Bothered is a fast-paced satirical comedy that follows the lives of two stoner best friends from Dayton, Ohio who create the world’s largest queer dating app, “SCZR.” Liz, a black, queer 20-something, gets fed up with the lack of lesbian spaces in Dayton after being rejected time and time again. Liz’s best friend Stan suggests that she should just create the “Grindr” for lesbians. The app grows throughout the span of Season 1 and transforms Liz and Stan’s lives forever.
