Cleaning the dirty interior of my 1999 Toyota 4Runner was easy. I focused on the carpets, leather seats, plastic interior, glass, plastic floor mats, and trunk mat. I have not cleaned this interior for 2 years. Some moisture build-up was happening under the plastic mats and the smell started to get really bad. Deep cleaning the carpets were definitely needed. Tuff Stuff cleaning foam, a drill brush, and a hot water extractor were used to clean the yellow carpets and a black mold spot. In the future I will be using a steamer to try to get a really deep clean. I used Meguiars's Leather Cleaner 3 in 1 and Meguiar's Vinyl Protectant to clean the plastic interior.
