Lagos-Ibadan Railway Project Will Cost About $1.6bn And Not $8bn, Amaechi Explains |Sunrise Daily| Nigeria’s minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, says the rail infrastructure is a capital intensive sector and about $45billion will be needed to solve the nation’s “problem of transportation to a great extent.”

The minister also gave a breakdown of the expenses inquired so far rail construction most especially the Lagos-Ibadan railroad.
