The Nation's Christmas Tree The General Grant Tree at Kings Canyon National Park and Sequoia

The Nation's Christmas Tree The General Grant Tree at Kings Canyon National Park and Sequoia The General Grant Tree is known as the Nation's Christmas Tree. The General Grant tree is the largest giant sequoia in the General Grant Grove section of Kings Canyon National Park in California. The tree was named in 1867 after Ulysses S. Grant the 18th President of the United States. We had so much fun visiting Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park. We loved all the trees and nature and especially the General Grant Tree!
