Rather Dark… | 1989 Express (mod. Schindler) @ Wilson Parking, Willis St, Wellington CBD (near NW)

This elevator has a rather dark cab and it doesn’t feel good — at least the lights work, but the cab still doesn’t look quite bright enough on camera, especially around where the fixtures are. This elevator is in bad condition but being in a carpark plus the fact that it is 30 years old, you’d expect that. This elevator goes from Willis Street up 4 levels to Boulcott Street. However, Boulcott Street is not immediately on level 5 — you have to go up a flight of stairs to get to the “rooftop” carpark and Boulcott Street is the exit up there. That means there is no DISABLED access to Boulcott Street using this elevator! This elevator is actually bigger in real life than how it can often look on camera.
