DIY Hardwood Floor Refinishing.
1. Remove quarter round from baseboards
2. Sand with 36, 50, and 80 grit sandpaper on an orbital sander
3. Use a palm sander to sand the edges and corners
4. Vacuum and tack cloth the entire floor
5. Apply 1 coat of sanding sealer
6. Lightly sand after sealer dries.
7. Apply 2-5 coats of polyurethane lightly sanding between coats
