Maharashtra Govt Formation LIVE Updates: The Supreme Court on Sunday commenced hearing on a plea filed by the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress combine against the Maharashtra Governor's decision to swear in Devendra Fadnavis as chief minister. Supreme Court issued notice to all parties. There will be no immediate floor test for Maharashtra. SC will hear matter again on Monday.

The apex court also issued notice on a Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress plea for an immediate floor test. The notices will go to the CM and Deputy CM. The court also orders that SG Tushar Mehta to produce the letters with the governor -- one in which the BJP submitted its claims on having a majority and the other of the governor inviting Devendra Fadnavis to form a government.

Meanwhile, BJP, NCP and Shiv Sena held hectic meetings to decide on the future course of action.
