STUDY POINTS
God’s perspective is that our faith should stand firm and remain in the power of God – which is Christ crucified.
The world’s perspective is different. It looks to men and their eloquent words, their wisdom, their philosophies, and their solutions.
These are all void of power. The Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit through the Apostle Paul are encouraging us not to have this perspective.
God through the Apostle Paul is saying that Christ’s death, His burial, and His resurrection brought redemption to humanity. That is God’s perspective.
However, the world’s perspective is different. To the world Jesus Christ dying on a cross to save humanity is sheer foolishness. Those who embrace the world’s perspective cannot receive the salvation, healing, peace, abundance, everything that Christ purchased for us.
One definition of perspective is “a particular attitude or way of regarding something; a point of view."
The world’s perspective and their communication about their perspective is not going to be God’s perspective and His communication. The world has a natural perspective. God has a spiritual perspective.
The world has a perspective and language that should not be ours, because it is not God’s. The world’s language transgresses the Word of God.
We must be aware of the world’s perspective and language and guard ourselves against it. Don’t go with the world’s flow. Look and listen for it.
Spend time in God’s Word, establish His language, and repeat what God has already said about you.
Whatever your job is, whether you’re a nurse or investment banker, you have to keep your perspective in line with the Word of God.
In every situation get God’s perspective. His perspective is in His Word. Go to the Word of God and then say what it says. Allow God’s perspective to consume you.
Don’t consider any other perspective. Don’t transgress the Word of God by speaking any other perspective.
You defeat the enemy by having God’s perspective and speaking His Word in every situation.
God’s perspective is that it is already done. His healing, His peace, His divine protection, and abundance, etc. It was all accomplished in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our words should be in line with this perspective.
Be attune to your perspective about things and be willing for God to change your perspective.
