Ok, hello. So. About halfway through editing and splitting the parts, I realized 80+ wasn’t going to cut it. The first couple times I listened to the song, I split the parts in my head. It got to 82. But now. Oh boy. 102. Parts. I really hope lots of people join this. (If you already know what is mep is and how it works, skip this next paragraph) A MEP is a Multi Editor Project that is usually a song. The song is split into many parts and then posted onto YouTube by the host (me) as a video with the song as audio and the parts as visual. The host then writes a bunch of rules in the description and then the comment section will request for parts after watching the video. The host will then heart your comment if they see your comment and let u join. Also in the description is a list of all the parts, who has the parts, if the part is finished, and a link to the finished part. This is to prevent confusion and prevent you from requesting a part that’s already taken.
I want this mep to be like a giant representation of the creative side of youtube as a whole, my fanbase, my friends, my past, my community, the community of gacha, gaming, comedy, and the right side of the brain. BUT. YOU CAN STILL JOIN THE MEP AND HAVE YOUR PART BE ALL MATHY OR WHATEVER. THIS IS ABOUT DIVERSITY. IF YOU ARE UNIQUE IN ANY WAY, JOIN. I DONT CARE ABOUT MEP PART QUALITY. YOU CAN JOIN THIS MEP WITH 0 EDITING SKILLS. PLEASE MAKE THIS A DREAM COME TRUE FOR ME.
This is an extremely long mep. I really wish this mep gets completed. That would mean a lot, I would be really proud. There are not very many rules for this mep. THIS IS NOT A STRICT MEP.
Rules:
1. Have fun
2. Be creative
3. No gore...because none of these parts have gore lyrics?
4. If you are doing some sort of typography, and you’re writing the lyrics out, you do not need to censor swear words. This of course, only applies to parts that contain swear words. This is because some pop songs have swearing, there isn’t much we can do about that is there.
5. You Can have as many as 3 editor watermarks (like if you use normal kinemaster, cute cut, etc.)
6. This mep is first come first serve.
7. You Can use any game or talent of yours to complete your part(s)
8. You can have as many as 15 parts (why would you do that to yourself, that’s like a minute of things you must do)
9. Fill out the form (not cuz I’m choosing, it’s just so I can get an idea of the type of diversity we’re going to have)
10. No 18+ stuff (there are children like 8 years old watching my vids. Why? I have no idea.)
11. If you want, you Can put a channel watermark or channel name on your mep part, it doesn’t matter, I’ll Credit you in the description of the completed mep anyway.
12. PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR 15 PARTS IN A ROW LIKE 「stariette」 DOWN THERE. IT WILL MAKE THE MEP BLAND. You May only have 5 parts in a row. Oof. Actually, I’d prefer if you chose your parts for every other, so that they aren’t connected, which would create more diversity. But then maybe no one would join. Oof.
13. Just because a part is taken doesn’t mean you can’t ask for it! If I get two of the same part, I’ll mash and blend them together to make more diversity. Tbh, I would prefer that.
