Union Square has a new culinary darling that is still being discovered by fans of Chinese cuisine (hopefully my review will help spread the words). Formerly home to Lotus Blue, this new concept is winning fans with its delicious dim sum served until 5pm daily. Set in an elegant setting (with two floors of dining area), Xu's Public House features menu that is supposed to be Shanghai-centric yet it could not bow down to the superiority that is the Cantonese cuisine by serving dim sum during the day (even its seasonal special menu at dinner is Cantonese focused). You can tell I am biased because my mom is Cantonese. So come eat some delicious dim sum with me!
