5 Pilates and Physical therapy Exercises Fix iliotibial Band Syndrome Hello Pilates lovers,
I made a video a combination of Pilates and Physical therapy treatment to ease knee pain on the outside of your knee before, during or after a run, ski, jumping and high impact activities as well as those h\who had recent knee replacement, low back pain with one leg weakness. The possible culprit that makes your iliotibial band with tenderness, tightness, inflammation , and pain with crepitus is due to the weakness on your gluteus maximus and medius as well as your tensor fascia latae.
These are 5 easy stretches, strengthening and myofascial release Fix for your iliotibial band syndrome or IT band in 10 minutes . 5 in 10 minutes!!! I will demonstrate the stretching, strengthening and myofascial release in a scope of 10 minutes FIX! I will also discuss a little bit of the anatomy of this thick ligament band, the strongest in our body!

This video is about a treatment plan stretching, strengthening and myofascia release in standing, sidelying . If some of the positioning is too difficult, then do only those that you could tolerate.

I incorporated the Pilates based and Physical therapy exercises combination. If you are having hip pain could also check my Piriformis syndrome if you are also having pinch nerve or sciatica, you could check my playlist for Sciatica.

And then to strengthen your core, i have a beginner's video Fundamentals to start with as well that is beneficial for lumbar Stenosis once the inflammation is less and here another link to see .
