U.S. Representative Cummings To Be Eulogized By Obama

The late Elijah Cummings, a veteran Democratic lawmaker will be eulogized on Friday by former presidents Obama and Clinton.
Hillary Clinton will also be among those honoring Cummings at the funeral service in Baltimore, Maryland.
Cummings was the son of sharecroppers who served for 22 years in the U.S. House of Representatives.
He was a fervent civil rights activist who endured violence as he sought to integrate a public swimming pool in the 1960's.
He was a high-profile antagonist of Trump and a leading force in the current impeachment inquiry.
Representative Cummings is survived by his wife Maryland Rockeymoore and 3 children.
According to Reuters, he died at age 68 in the early morning hours of October 17, 2019.
The exact cause of death was not released, but his office told The Baltimore Sun that he died of longstanding health problems.
