CBS Up To The Minute footage (November 9, 1999) This clip of CBS's overnight news service comes off of KCBS Los Angeles, which at the time aired approximately a 50 minute segment between late night and the CBS Morning News that followed. Many of the same news stories that were shown a little later on Morning News were also featured here, such as the Y2K story, the nature of heart disease, High School Expulsions with a statement by Jesse Jackson in Illinois, and Egypt's Flight 990, while others, such as the 10th Anniversary of the Berlin Wall, a Pokemon jumbo jet carrying those popular cards, a pumpkin festival in Delaware, violence in Chechnya, Turkey, Simon Bates comment from London, and the first online video Town Hall chat with President Clinton.
