October 16, 2019 - Although it's illegal to cultivate, smoke, or sell cannabis in Morocco, the drug industry around the Rif mountains is still lively. It's where most of the country's cannabis crops are grown. Small-scale farmers say that they are being increasingly edged out by bigger producers who can afford to irrigate an increasingly popular and thirsty new hybrid crop, the 'Critikal'.
