Sri Marri Laxman Reddy (#MLR) Garu is the Chairman of MLR Group and St. Martin's Group of Institutions. He is not just an educationist, but also an International athlete leading Telangana State Master Athletics Association as President. At this age of 75, he cycles to his Educational Institutions from home to improve sportsmanship spirit in Students. Sir also takes part in most Marathons as a Runner. He cycled from Bangalore to Hyderabad in 2015 which amounts 575kms as part of infinity ride. He is an active participant in triathlon where Swimming, Running and Cycling are to be done one after another. He is a motivational and spirit-driven personality to whom many young cyclists and runners in Hyderabad today look up to. About Event
Council for Transforming India ( #CTI ) and Department of Language and Culture, Government of Telangana organized Transforming India Summit and CTI Excellence Awards 2019 where innovative ideas and thoughts on Youth Empowerment and Transforming India will be shared. Also, inspiring personalities will be honoured with CTI Excellence Awards 2019.

About Organization
Council for Transforming India was started by a few like-minded youth who strive for contributing towards Nation building and transformation thereby making it a better Nation. We are a Non-Government and Non- Profit Organization registered under Telangana Societies Registration Act, 2001 in Hyderabad. CTI works closely with Government Organizations and Institutes towards various issues of concerns ranging from the environment to sustainable development, to road safety, education, economy and so on. In light of this, CTI began to plan its goals and work towards them by adopting a lifecycle approach of development, focusing on various issues of global concern.
