Fungi that are already present in or on your body can cause nail infections.
If you have come in contact with someone else who has a fungal infection, it may have spread to you.
According to the American Academy of Dermatology,
fungal infections affect toenails more commonly than fingernails because your toes are usually confined to your shoes,
where they’re in a warm, moist environment.
Ingredients Required:
4 to 5 tablespoons baking soda
1 cup white vinegar or apple cider vinegar
Water
Paper towels
Directions:
Make a mixture of 1 cup vinegar and enough water to soak your feet or hand in. Soak for 15 minutes. Then, dry with paper towels.
Add more baking soda to the water and soak your feet/ hand for another 15 minutes. Then, again dry your feet with paper towels.
Do this twice a day. The fungi will be destroyed by the vinegar, and baking soda will inhibit the growth of more.
