***SPECIAL*** *Week 11* of my Music Project "Suroporna"!!! I am very excited to cover this week’s song as a duet with my melodious sister, Srishti! I am visiting her in Minnesota and I couldn’t think of a better way of making this week special. LOTS of new stuff in the video.
Well first, this is the first cover with *karaoke*! Many people have been telling me to do, so here it is!
We are covering Luka Chuppi from Rang De Basanti (2006), a favorite song of many, sung beautifully by Lata Mangeshkar and A R Rahman, the super dynamic duo! I sang Lata’s verses and my sister covered A R Rahman’s verses including the tough sargam at the end (at 5:20)!
Second, there are small treats (re: pics) in the video (first one at 3:18) :D
Third, to commemorate and represent this special video, I created album art to denote the sadness of the song and the name of the movie :)
It took 1.5 days of practicing and 1 day of editing to make this video. It isn’t perfect but its the best we could do in the short time. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it! :)
