- Magnetic / mechanical stepper resistance unit. Can be slow to respond in SIM / Racing.
- Not silent.
Stages
- A little higher up in price at $2600-2800.
- Four adjustable crank lengths.
- True LEFT/RIGHT power measurement.
- Still a headless unit. No gear / resistance indication on the bike.
- Version ONE of their interactive offering in any form... unknown ride experience.
Tacx Neo Bike $3199
- 3 crank lengths.
- Gear indicator screen.
- Neo resistance technology (Tacx know smart trainers)
- Somewhat unknown experience putting it all together...
- Garmin backing - Software eco-system (Tacx Training Apps)
Wahoo KickrBIKE - $3500
- Gradient Tilt (up and down - unique!)
- 5 crank lengths.
- Gear/status screen on bike.
- Virtual groupset selection (working today!)
- Wahoo knows interactivity in SIM/ERG.
- Provision for upgrades to add TT shifters/etc.
- Still an unknown experience... on the pedals.
