Enormous cargo arrives at Port of Mackay

The Port of Mackay’s capability to accommodate oversize overmass (OSOM) cargo has again been demonstrated with the arrival of an enormous shipment from Hay Point.

The cargo weighs 230 metric tonnes, spans approximately 50 meters in length and is from a ship loader at BHP Billiton Mitsubishi’s (BMA) Hay Point Coal Terminal.
