Paul Anderson performs the beautiful Slow Air Bovaglie's Plaid accompanied by Tony McManus. This air which was composed by James Scott Skinner is taken from the album "Beauties of the North" and the images are all taken at Bovaglie farm on the Abergeldie Estate on Royal Deeside. Queen Victoria first coined the term Bovaglie's Plaid after observing that the forestry plantation protecting the farm building from the prevailing winter winds looked like a tartan Plaid lying in the heather.
