Recovering from a lack of confidence mp4

Recovering from a lack of confidence mp4 When you have taken a hit in your confidence, maybe a thoughtless word from a friend or colleague or a momentary failure in the project you are working on, causes you to lose your footing and your confidence takes a hit. What can you do to recover from it?

1) Wallow or vent. If you feel like you must, wallow in self pity or vent if you feel like it. BUT only if you feel like it. Trust your gut. Your gut is good. It is your instinct that tells you what's real and the best thing to do. Practice using your gut and before long, it will be a great compass for you.

2) Find the silver lining. Once you are ready, look for the silver lining. No matter how dire, I promise you there is a silver lining. Even if it is a sliver of one, shining dimly. Look for it. Think as positively as you can because it will help practice that muscle too and bring you back on an even keel. Keep going, keep thinking positive no matter how hard. Try it out even if you don't feel like it. Try it each time you feel a hit in confidence.

3) Tell yourself that you are enough or that you are good enough to succeed or a similar mantra of your choosing. Much like you would convince a friend, convince yourself that you are capable and worthy of success. Why? Because you are!

Here are my immediate recovery rules, or at least suggestions you can follow when you suffer a confidence hit. Remember to give yourself time to recover, and don't feel guilty for wallowing or venting. Denying yourself that when you want to just makes things worse.
