GST Compliance is Killing BUSINESSES..... MODI Govt. Wake Up.... Views on GST - 01/08/2019

GST Law was created with the intent that it would bring EASE to the Business community, but more than 2 years have passed and this law has become the biggest pain in the ass of all the businesses of India.

The MODI Government has the Correct Intent but either the government is being fooled by the Bureaucrats or they are being manipulated by the non BJP governments in the GST Council by keeping this law as the most Burdensome one of India with respect to compliance.

There are hundreds of issues which Assessees are facing and unfortunately, the law has no provisions in it for solving such issues, eg. 1. the due dates for amending invoices have passed and so while filing the Annual return, an assessee cannot ask the vendor to amend invoices or to bring it in the BtoB field from BtoC field. 2. the assessee possessing correct invoice has to become a tax officer and ask his 100's of vendors everymonth to file their returns. 3. filing of monthly returns, etc.

Great Business minds who should focus on improving exports and increasing the FOREX and GDP are now engaged constantly over GST compliances and GST related litigations.

India faced a BRAIN DRAIN problem before when the intelligent lot moved to foreign countries, but today we are facing the BRAIN DRAIN within the country, because all the intellectual resources of the highly talented business men and managers are being used for non-productive activities like filing of different GST Returns and ensuring that the vendors file their returns.

If money makers and job givers start doing the work of government officers, who will do their jobs?

FOCUS is the first step of progress, but if FOCUS is dissipated for doing tiresome tasks like filing of returns every month, where is the FOCUS?
