Concerned Hongkongers in US deliver letters to the UN

A group of concerned Hongkongers gathered at United Nations headquarters to deliver three letters to the UN Security Council, the UN Committee Against Torture and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

They want to raise attention on what they call the Hong Kong police force’s “egregious misconduct” and “dereliction of duty” in their crackdown of the recent protests. They ask the international community to help “reverse Hong Kong’s current trajectory towards complete lawlessness”.
