The former Prime Minister briefed her campaign team at 5am in the Conservative Party Headquarters following her humiliating performance at the 2017 general election. For the first time, Number 10 photographer Steve Back revealed what happened at that heartbreaking meeting with Mrs May's team. Talking to Channel 4 News Behind The Scenes, Mr Back revealed Theresa May was forced to apologise for her "appalling results" and was escorted out of the room in tears.
