Division 2 - A MASSIVE Decline

Division 2 - A MASSIVE Decline Division 2... in a lot of ways, is superior to the original version. However, since launch there has been a fairly steady decline in player interest which begs the question... why is a more stable game, with more content, and a higher level of polish... less popular?

The answer is a split set of priorities. The game has a lot to offer but the longevity of PvE content is lower than that of PvP, however, a priority is being placed on small PvE changes, which are not major enough to maintain a player base, or recapture those that have left, while the PvP side of the game is pushing away an increasing number fo the players who currently stick with the product.

PvE and PvP are both viable methods of content, but PvE normally has an expiration date unless constantly expanded. Right now division 2 is losing players from both groups.
