You and I are going to drink a lot of coffee together. Like, borderline dangerous amounts of coffee.
So, first things first. Pour yourself a mug and I’ll introduce myself real quick.
My name’s Jordan — but everyone calls me “J” — and I’m a 27th degree black belt in chugging coffee.
I’m also strength & nutrition coach, I hold several powerlifting world records, and I’ve been fortunate enough to have my writing featured in a variety of outlets like CNN, the Huffington Post, and Schwarzenegger.com.
But listen.
This channel isn’t for fame, publicity, cash, props, fist bumps, likes, pings, pows or whatever else there is.
It’s a place where you and I can chat.
I’ll never sugar coat, lie, or beat around the bush. I’ll tell you everything exactly as I see it. Some stuff you might like. Others you might not.
And that’s totally cool.
Either way, my goal here is to create a discussion. A place where you and I can get together, exchange ideas, and motivate each other to be better every day.
Like I said, we’re gonna drink a lot of coffee together — borderline dangerous amounts — but I’m excited. Because there aren’t too many online communities in which the sole purpose is to inspire and motivate one another.
And that’s exactly what you and I are going to do here.

The Post I Made About Gary
2 Things I’ve Learned From Coaching @garyvee Every Day For Two and a Half Years Straight.

Since 6am on May 31, 2016 I’ve coached Gary Vaynerchuk every day.
-
Seven days/week.
-
I’ve coached him in NYC. Los Angeles. Miami. Hong Kong. London. Ireland. Belgium. Poland. Hogsmeade.
-
I’ve traveled all over the world coaching Gary and, with the exception of a few holidays, sick days, etc...we’ve spent at least 45min/day together - every day - for two and a half years straight.

My brother and incredible friend, @mikevacanti coached Gary every day for 2 years straight before me.
-
And after my three year anniversary on May 31, 2019, Mike & I will be coaching Gary together (alternating 3 months on/3 months off).

I’m wicked excited. Mike & I already have a *huge* project underway we’ve been developing for personal trainers for months. More on that another time.

To the point....

I’ve learned a lot from Gary. So much I could write an entire book on Gary’s life lessons alone.

And while there are too many to fit all in one IG post, I want to share two of his most important ones with you.

1) “Your Insecurities are the Jail of Your Emotions.”
-
Think of it like this.
-
The other day I wrote a post outlining how I’m self conscious of being short and bald and other things.
-
Hundreds joined me in the comments revealing their deepest insecurities. Things they would never openly tell anyone else.

But once I told you my insecurities. And once you told me yours. The insecurity disappeared. It was no longer something to be self conscious of. Because, as Gary has told me time & again, “once you own it...you own it. And no one can use it against you.”

2) “What’s the Worst That Happens?”

Any time I’ve been worried or anxious about doing something, Gary’s asked me, “what’s the worst that happens?”
-
At first my mind would actively try to create the most awful worst case scenario.
-
But then I’d relax. Think. And the worst case wasn’t even all that bad.
-
Definitely not worth panicking over.
-
Because no matter what happens...you can always get up and try again.
-
Always.
-
And the only person who can stop you is...you.
-
