Vietnam survivors denied pay they are entitled to receive as a result of exposure to Agent Orange!

My father served in Vietnam as a member of the Armed Forces between 1962 and 1972 (the period during which Agent Orange was used in Vietnam). His death or disability was not caused by a traumatic or accidental occurrence as stated on his death certificate.

Now my mother, the wife of a 22-year veteran was denied any part of his retirement pension. Why would she need to be left destitute? This would not be an issue if our government did not kill off so many of our vets by using a chemical so nasty and deadly as agent orange.
