The Flavour were a studio project put together by producers Neil Claxton (Urban Cookie Collective, Mint Royale) and Johnny Jay, AKA The Development Corporation. The project was fronted by three female vocalists - Jade, Kiss and Franschene. They issued two singles for Jive Records in 1994, 'No Matter What U Do' being the first, which charted at #81 in the UK singles chart. This mix, my personal favourite, incorporates many 'borrowed' bits and pieces from various classic dance tracks, including 'Carwash', 'Ain't No Love (Ain't No Use)' and 'Le Freak'. Spot any more? This track also got re-released in 1995 with a new remix package but faired much the same, reaching #79.
