Public Can Pay Their Last Respects : Crazy Mohan Funeral Crematred

Public Can Pay Their Last Respects : Crazy Mohan Funeral Crematred Born in 1952 as Mohan Rangachari, ‘Crazy’ was a sobriquet he acquired after the popular play Crazy Thieves in Palavakkam for which he wrote the script. The play staged by another popular theatre personality, S.Ve. Shekher, was also a runaway hit as a television series. It set the tone for the rest of his career, as ‘Crazy’ Mohan and his brother Balaji wrote and starred in a number of plays of similar nature that had the audience in splits. The plays were replete with wit and humour, even if the plot was wafer thin sometimes.

Fans can pay their last respects to him at his residence on Ammini Ammal Street in Mandaveli till 9 a.m. Cremation will be held at the Besant Nagar crematorium at 11.30 a.m.
