How Matthijs de Ligt would affect Juventus' European ambitions | Champions League

With Juventus now in the race for Ajax sensation Matthijs de Ligt, ESPN FC’s Gab Marcotti, Craig Burley, Alejandro Moreno and Dan Thomas examine how much of an impact he would have on the Bianconeri. Former Juventus player and manager Fabio Capello says the Serie A title race would be over as soon as the eight-time-reigning Italian champions signed him, but Burley says their ninth straight title is just about a guarantee, anyway. Marcotti explains that Juventus would want to add de Ligt for the same reason they signed Cristiano Ronaldo: to win the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 1996.
