The American Express Gold Card was remade and remodeled in 2019 with the Gold and Rose Gold options, however, the rose gold is no longer produced. Upon getting the card, if you spend $2,000 in the first two months of owning it, you receive a membership point credit of 35,000 points, yet, many online credit card gurus have said you can find deals as good as 50,000 points. The points can be used to book flights, hotels, and get gift cards, however, the most efficient way to use them is on American Express Travel, where each point is worth about $0.01, effectively giving you 1% cash back on all of your purchases. As for restaurant, dining, and supermarket cash back, you receive 4% back, which is a phenomenal deal!
