Using a Rode Videomic Go external microphone in comparison to my Fujifilm X-E3 camera built in mic.

Using a Rode Videomic Go external microphone in comparison to my Fujifilm X-E3 camera built in mic. I have just acquired a used Rode Videomic Go external microphone and I wanted to see how the sound quality compared to using the in body mic on my X-E3 and to see if it would be worth using. As a musician, and to occasionally record acoustic music it would obviously be nice to have better sound quality but as a novice to video, I had no real idea if it would be worth trying. Anyway I have found the increase in quality to be significant and will definitely be using it. Sound is much clearer and distracting background noises are isolated when you are recording. Another huge plus is the mic is light in weight and there is no battery required; it fixes on the camera hot shoe and is powered via the camera's external microphone input. I am using the Fujinon 18-55mm F2.8-4 zoom lens in this video. Please note the plug from the mic is standard 3.5mm and you may need an adapter depending on what camera you are using. In my case, using my Fujifilm X-E3 I needed a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter.
