Sudan's main protest group has accused the military rulers of trying to break up a sit-in in the capital Khartoum. That is where protesters have been gathering to demand an immediate handover to civilian rule. The military toppled long-time President Omar al-Bashir three weeks ago, but it has been under increasing pressure to give up power.
