In this video today we're gonna be going over how and when to abuse aim assist in Fortnite. Aim assist, and specifically "abusing" aim assist is definitely a very controversial topic in the Fortnite community. But, at least in my opinion, it's really the only advantage that controller players have over mouse and keyboard players. And even if you are against it, which I do understand, you're basically intentionally handicapping yourself if you don't take advantage of aim assist as much as possible. Now here's what's really interesting about the current state of Fortnite, and why I decided to make this video at this time. Right now, practically all of the best and most powerful weapons in the game, are weapons that you can and should abuse aim assist with. As great and awesome as the pump shotgun was, it being the most dominant weapon in the game actually put controller players at a pretty big disadvantage. It was a weapon that you really didn't ever wanna aim down sights with, and therefore, you barely got any aim assist while using it. The meta that we currently have is maybe the most advantageous for controller players in all of Fortnite's history. My goal with this video is to break down which specific weapons are best for abusing aim assist with, and the specific mechanics of how you should be doing that. Plus, as we'll get into throughout the duration of the video, each category of weapons is different when it comes to using aim assist. I'll also be showing you guys some video examples along the way in case you're more a visual learner.
