Be Present Using Your Senses: 20 Minute Mindfulness Meditation for Stress Reduction When you can root yourself in the present moment, it allows you to let go of the worry of what’s to come in the future and possible regrets about what has happened in the past. Create a safe and tranquil environment for yourself to experience the stress relief of being present. This practice will not only relieve the stress you may be experiencing now but also release the stress you may be carrying from the past.
