Spring Session of PACE: Topics & Discussions

A five-day spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is to kick off in Strasbourg on April 8th. The topics to be discussed include promoting parliaments free of sexism and the implications for human rights of social media. The Assembly will also take a stand on the creation of a new EU mechanism on democracy, the rule of law and fundamental rights. Meanwhile, German diplomats are negotiating with representatives of other states about the return of Russians to PACE without sanctions. To discuss this, we welcome to the studio Taras Kachka, advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
