Building A Log Cabin - Episode 33 - Building A Fireplace - Laying Bricks

After last week’s experiments, working out what mix would be best to use for the fireplace, we settled with one part water, one part sand and set about building the fireplace.
We managed to reach the desired height we wanted this evening, which was a surprise considering I’m not a builder by any stretch of the imagination.
Next week, once it’s dry, we’ll be putting the shelf on.
A good, productive, few hours work.
